Timothy "Alex" Minter

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. I began my career with DHI Mortgage in March 2020 as a Mortgage Loan Processor, where I gained valuable experience and a strong understanding of the mortgage process from the inside out. In October 2021, I transitioned into the role of Mortgage Loan Originator.

Since becoming a Loan Officer, I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of families each year navigate the homebuying process. I am proud to have been recognized as a President’s Club recipient and, in 2025, as a Top 50 Texas Loan Officer by the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.

While I am grateful for those accomplishments, what matters most to me is the experience I provide for my clients. Clear and timely communication is at the center of my approach. I take the time to explain the numbers, answer questions, and make sure my clients understand their options and feel informed throughout the entire mortgage process.

My background in processing also gives me a valuable perspective on what it takes to successfully move a loan from application through closing. I work closely with buyers, Realtors, new construction sales professionals, and our mortgage team to help make the experience as smooth and straightforward as possible.

Outside of work, I enjoy being involved with my church, working out, spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and following my hometown Dallas sports teams.
