My name is Angel Ruiz, and I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I spent part of my youth in Puerto Rico until I moved to Central Florida in 2000. Since then I have called Central Florida my home. I’m also a US active duty Army veteran. I joined the military when I was 24 years old which included several deployment tours during the 4 years of active service. The US Army became such an important part of my life, that I still serve in the US Army Reserves.
After separating from active service, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. I had the opportunity to join the mortgage industry with DHI Mortgage in 2020. I’m confident I can deliver great insight into our mortgage products and programs. Furthermore, my goal is to ensure the loan process goes as smoothly and is memorable when it comes to buying your new home.
